A "LIFE IN ACTION" outreach, in a picture video presentation, to a remarkably large village in the mountains, about two hours from Escalon. We were blessed to have a visiting mission group with us at the same time.

During one of our Life In Action outreach campaigns we came to a village called Gotas de Sangre -
truly a village in great need. We took several of our Escalon students to help give to the
children there. We also found that this village is in great need for a water source. We hope to
get back soon and help them by providing them with a source for drinking water; won't you help?

During our deparasiting campaign other needs were encountered that allowed us
the opportunity to return to some of the schools we had visited before and make
more of an impact for the Gospel. Below is footage taken during one of these
return visits, in which the student's Sunday evening offerings provided plates and
glasses to two schools that did not have dishes to serve lunch to the children.
Also, some of our Plan Escalon Students that have good grades were able to go and
personally hand these gifts.
This video footage was taken during our Medical Brigade in January. We visited four
different communities over five days and saw approximately 500 patients a day either
in the medical or the dental clinics. A team of 40 doctors, nurse practioners, nurses,
dentists and assistants came and donated their time to help Tree of Life create avenues
that open the door to further ministry in the future.

While here during the Medical Brigade a team member had an amazing thing happen in their life,
it actually was something that was a surprise and blessing to all of us.

Life in Action to Yapwas - Mosquito Coast
Operation Yapwas in the Mosquito Coast of Honduras
“YAPWAS”
Is the place where the Tawankas people live; it’s the same place where Pastor Guy Henry had declared to them that God would send the seed necessary for them to plant and produce a harvest. One of the leaders of the tribe recalls this promise from Pastor Guy Henry to me Elvin Cerna, Staff Evangelist for Tree of Life here in Honduras. Pastor Guy was unable to go because of the delay in the arrival of the boat required us to re-schedule our travel to the Mosquito Coast resulting in unavoidable conflicts of scheduling for our Pastor to go. He was deeply disappointed.
The Tawankas had never been so surprised and the quantity of gifts for which they received. They were filled with thankfulness, even one of the eldest leaders in the village had received medication to eliminate the tapeworms that had plagued him for years; in such gifts he was able to see the love of Jesus. His joy and gratefulness was overflowing that he had in his hands the help he do desperately needed.
For the kids they were equally happy to receive the notebooks, backpacks and a complete set of supplies of pencils, pens, ruler, erasers, glue sticks and other such school paraphernalia.
Each family in the village recieved the following food supplies:
Each one received 25 pounds of rice
bags of soup 10
pounds of corn 25
pounds of beans 25
The total that was brought to the villiage was 3,750 pounds of food and 500 bags of soup.
Seed to be sown:
Rice 25Lbs.
Beans 25 Lbs.
Corn 25Lbs
The total that was brought to the villiage was 3,750 pounds of Seed.
Everyone in the villiage received and aboundance of clothing as well.
In the village of Yapwas we blessed 50 families then in other villages we ministered to 3000 souls by administering 3000 anti-parasite tablets. The whole community received the medicines’ that will remain effective for approximately 6 months; keeping them parasite free.
The trip continued and we visited other communities as well, Pimienta, Arena Blanca, and Tucrun where we administered the anti-parasite medication. We also passed out notebooks to the children of these communities and most importantly we carried the message of hope.
In total, we witnessed 150 souls make a confession of their acceptance of Jesus.
